Pastor Joseph A. Palm

Pastor Joseph A. Palm is from Baltimore Maryland. He had a radical conversion that deeply impacted his life. God rescued him from an overdose of drugs. At the same time that Joe cried out to God to save him, the Lord caused his parents, Papa John and Mary Lou, to hear their sons cry in an audible voice hundreds of miles away. God heard Joe's prayers and radically saved him. Shortly thereafter Joe accepted the call to serve Jesus and he has been faithful to that call for many years.
He has an associates degree from Christ for the Nations Institute, Bachelor's Degree in Theology and Political Science from Dallas Baptist University, Masters Degree in Divinity from Oral Roberts University and a Masters Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Regent University. He has served as an associate Pastor for churches in Virginia and Oklahoma and served as the Senior Pastor of Family Life Church and Focal Point Church until God called him to plant New Hope Worship Center in 2013.
Presently, as our Senior Pastor, his ministry style is not to be the guy who does everything. He equips the body of believers to do the work of the ministry and spends a lot of time mentoring others to become all that God has called them to be.
Pastor Joe is married to Kim Palm. Kim is a native of Canada. She works as an accountant but
also has a ministry degree and is a wonderful compliment and support to Pastor Joe. His son is
Kaleb, an FAU student and aspiring golfer and his daughter is Sarah, a young professional. For fun he loves sports of any kind! He is an avid Ravens and Orioles fan! His favorite place to chill is any beach!
Pastor Erik Pimentel

Pastor Erik D Pimentel was born in Puerto Rico, raised just outside of Boston, MA, and somehow managed to keep both his love for warm beaches and a high tolerance for cold winters. Married to the amazing Mitzy Pimentel, he is the proud father of two beautiful daughters, Rebecca and Eryqa, and the blessed stepfather of two wonderful sons, Corey Jr. and Quincy—making family gatherings full of love, laughter, and probably a little bit of controlled chaos.
Raised in a household where ministry was the family business, Erik learned early on that church was more than just a Sunday event—it was a way of life. His parents, Angel and Edelmira Pimentel, served as pastors and ministers for many years, and alongside his sister, Idaliz, he actively serves in church.
New Hope Worship Center has been his home for nearly a decade. Starting as the worship leader, Erik thought he’d be forever known as “the guy in the music,” but in 2018, God had other plans—calling him into pastoral ministry. He went on to earn a master’s degree from Evangelical Theological Seminary, majoring in biblical studies and minoring in pastoral counseling. Not one to stop learning, he has aspirations of adding “Dr. Pimentel” to his name with a PhD in pastoral counseling.
In 2021, Erik stepped into the role of executive pastor at New Hope Worship Center, where he continues to serve with passion, wisdom, and just enough humor to keep meetings from feeling like lectures. If you don’t see him preaching, you’ll most likely find him behind the drums during worship sets—because whether it’s leading with words or with rhythm, Erik is all about keeping things moving forward for the glory of God.
When he’s not serving in ministry, Erik enjoys game nights—not just with family, but with friends as well. Whether it’s a battle of strategy, a test of wits, or just a night filled with laughter, he’s always up for some friendly competition (and maybe a little playful trash talk). He also loves hitting the open road on a motorcycle with his wife, Mitzy, enjoying the ride and the freedom that comes with it—because sometimes, the best kind of sermon is a ride with a great view.
Pastor Peter Medina

Pastor Peter M. Medina was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Though he grew up in a Catholic household and had an awareness of God, his faith was centered on praying to angels and saints, as he had been taught. It wasn’t until he received an invitation to church that he truly understood the importance of having a personal relationship with Christ. At the age of 19, he accepted Jesus as his Savior. His journey of faith was marked by spiritual warfare and moments of struggle, but after moving to Florida, God radically transformed his life. Since then, he has been steadfast in his walk with Christ and dedicated to working for the Kingdom.
Pastor Peter holds an associate degree as an electronics computer technician and is also a certified HVAC technician. He attended Equipped for Life School of Ministry for a year and a half and later graduated from the Institute of Hope. He also holds an associate degree in theology and practical ministry. His greatest passion is studying God’s Word and preaching the gospel. In his free time, he enjoys drawing and practicing guitar. He currently works as a maintenance supervisor for NPMA.
Family is at the heart of Pastor Peter’s life. He is a father to seven children and a stepfather to four. He is married to an amazing woman of God, Normarie Medina, and cherishes every moment spent with his family. With such a full house, there is never a dull moment, and he considers himself truly blessed.
At New Hope Church, Pastor Peter has faithfully served in various capacities. He previously led as a youth pastor and is currently serving as the leader of the prayer ministry and as the online pastor. His commitment to prayer, discipleship, and spreading the gospel continues to impact the lives of many.
